Selected papers of Dr. Mario Coluzzi

This section of VectorBase hosts the reprint collection of Dr. Mario Coluzzi, Professor of Parasitology at the University of Rome La Sapienza, who has made it available to us. In here you can find 100 papers ranging back to 1937.

Kitsos Louis is indebted to the Fondazione Cenci-Bolognetti and its Vice President (and dear friend) Prof. Paolo Costantino for the hospitality that made this reprint collection possible. Moreover, this operation would not have been possible if the second dear friend, Mario Coluzzi, had not embraced it, and agreed to make his collection publicly available to the research community through VectorBase. He also helped the project by providing secretarial assistance. On behalf of all Anopheles researchers, Mario, grazie tanto!

Technical info: To reduce size, most of the papers have been scanned at a 100 dpi resolution in grayscale mode. Occasionally, a somewhat higher resolution was used, or individual pages were stored as bitmapped, or even coloured pictures. The papers are downloadable without a fee as pdf files by clicking on the respective bibliographic reference. Be aware that due to the length of the publications some of these files are very big (several MB). To reduce their size, the files are only readable using Acrobat 6.0 or later.
